Pintail has always been concerned with words, originally in the field of publishing for business
In 1996 we took over Herts Holistic Health, established in 1987, which rapidly morphed into In Balance a magazine focussed on women’s health and lifestyle
For two years Val produced and presented In Balance On Air, an hour’s live radio show on London’s Spectrum Radio
In 2000 In Balance first appeared on the web
We have built a library of photographs since 2004, regularly accepting photographic assignments
Since 2008 Pintail has produced publicity podcasts
We have always wanted to produce pictorial magazines but were limited by the costs of print and paucity of support from sponsors and advertisers
The web gave us the freedom we desired – we had a free rein to produce whatever we wanted. We have chosen subjects that appeal to us and many are based on features produced for inBalance Magazine. Some of our podcasts:
